Dr Georgie Buckley is an eating disorder health professional, academic and lived experience advocate with over a decade’s experience. Georgie is internationally recognised for her contributions to research in eating disorders and has extensive experience building up a not-for-profit from scratch to then acquire $6.6 million of funding in its first 18 months.

 

Georgie has previously worked at Harvard Medical School, Boston Children Hospital, The Victorian Institute of Sport and The University of Melbourne and been involved extensively in co-designed youth projects, grant acquisition, project management, relationship and capacity building, asset development and research translation. She has the respect, understanding and impact within the eating disorders industry and has been sitting on the idea of Body Justice for years now to make globally recognised change and an impact for those who need it most.
