Hi, I’m Georgie. I’m a very proud queer, AuDHD-er.

(I have the brilliantly chaotic double of autism and ADHD) and I have endless passion for nutritional social justice.

I support people to explore their food and body relationship.

My favourite part is being able to provide context to their food. Whether that is from their earlier life experiences, systems of oppression or their natural psychophysiological state (that’s the natural functioning of their brain and body).

I’ve spent over a decade collecting expensive pieces of paper from Universities, but my biggest influences in my practice come from my own lived experience. My degree’s help me to be critical of the systems of power, and to provide evidence-based context to our experiences. However, a healthy dose of critique to the healthcare system and evidence base is always welcomed.

I am a dietitian, but sessions probably look more like “food therapy”.

Rather than telling you that your body is wrong and that you’re not eating enough vegetables I prefer to really understand who you are and what food looks like in the context of a “good-enough” and meaningful life.

I’ve worked here and there over the last decade but I love working for myself because I have created a sustainable, neuroaffirming work environment. It means that you will get an unmasking, passionate and high energy clinician who is about to become your biggest supporter as you come home to your body.

I love diving deep below the surface of your experiences and beliefs to find out what is at the core of your food relationship. If deep chats and exploration are not your thing, you’re probably better off seeing someone else, and that’s ok too. I believe that a good health professional is worth searching for – trust me, your nervous system will thank you.

Health is a completely relative experience and concept.

I want to help support you to find what that means for food without the guilt and shame of any rigid dietary guidelines. If you’re looking for a dietitian who tells you to “eat the rainbow” – I am not your person. If your plate looks beige and the same every day, go off queen! Me too.

If you’ve read all of this and haven’t closed your browser and set fire to your laptop, we are probably a good fit. Reach out if you have any questions, otherwise let’s get started!

(Yes, that is a picture of me dressed as a pizza, eating pizza)
